It’s happening! I’m running the NYC marathon to celebrate 5 years post my second double lung transplant. After so much struggle with breath, I want to thank you and invite you into victory. Please consider supporting my battle to raise awareness and help others like me breathe!
I have worked so hard. But none of that has saved me. I needed a donor. Someone outside myself to keep me alive. I am eternally grateful to God, my donors and their families, my family, doctors and medical staff, the Boomer Esiason Foundation, and all of you! Team Boomer is the athletic division of the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
We work to encourage people with cystic fibrosis to live active, healthy lifestyles.
We welcome any advocate to join the team to raise funds and awareness for the CF community.How does Team Boomer help?
The money raised by our Team Boomer athletes helps fund our scholarships, transplant grants, disaster relief program, and a number of educational resources.
