Make A Difference with Your Miles!

Running for Tina 💙

I’m thrilled to share that I’m running the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon with Team Teal to support the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) and in honor of my godmother, Auntie Tina, as she bravely fights ovarian cancer.

And I need your help to raise money for NOCC!

💙Why it matters:

  • Symptoms of ovarian cancer are subtle and can be easy to miss.
  • Unlike for other forms of cancer, there’s NO routine screening test.
  • But early detection can save lives!
    • The five-year relative survival rate when diagnosed and treated in its earliest stages is over 90%!

That’s why raising money and awareness is so important.

💙What your donation supports:

  • Research for better detection and treatment.
  • Education & awareness programs, so symptoms don’t go unnoticed.
  • Quality of life resources, including:
    • Meal delivery for patients
    • Professional counseling and peer support
    • Financial assistance during treatment

Your support would mean the world! Every dollar helps raise awareness and provides critical support to educate women about this disease and support those with ovarian cancer, who are in financial need, to help them gain access to critical resources.

💙Why I’m running: This marathon is more than just a race for me. It’s personal.

My Auntie Tina is a force of nature. Today, she continues to face this battle with the same tenacity she brings to everything in life. So on November 2, 2025, I’ll be running 26.2 miles through the five boroughs of NYC – a city I’ve called home for 13 years – to honor her strength, to show my unwavering support, and to help spread awareness about the signs of ovarian cancer so that others might have the same chance for early detection in the future.

Auntie Tina and I are so much alike, and I’ve looked up to her for as long as I can remember. She’s not only the most fashionable person I know, but also one of the most generous. Her vibrant energy lights up every room, and her heart is even bigger than her legendary closet. Fiercely competitive in the best way and passionate about fitness, she’s always inspired me to push myself, raise my own standards, and never settle. When she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, we were grateful it was caught earlier than it is for many. No diagnosis is ever easy, but early detection is a blessing.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and encouragement.💙
