To celebrate Oaks Day, make a donation in honor of your loved one who is a breast cancer or ovarian cancer patient or survivor, or in memory of your loved one. Even though the Survivors Parade is not able to take place this year on Oaks Day at Churchill Downs, you can still show your support by donating $1 or more to support Breast Health at the Norton Cancer Institute.
Churchill Downs, Derby Divas and Norton Cancer Institute are continuing their partnership to raise funds through the Oaks charitable initiative to help provide care to local women who lack access to breast health screenings and services. The funds raised through this partnership, including $1 of every Finlandia Oaks Lily sold on Oaks Day, have been used to renovate the current Norton Prevention & Wellness Mobile Prevention Center as well as helped fund a second Mobile Prevention Center, which provides free screening services including mammograms to patients throughout the region.
