Remembering our “Car-Man” and his race against cancer 💔
Our father, Carmen Scaglione AKA "The Car-Man", fought a courageous battle with stage IV colorectal cancer over the last 12 months. He has inspired so many throughout his life, both personally and professionally. Over the past year, he has shown extraordinary strength and resilience, inspiring everyone who has had the privilege of "driving" beside him on his race to beat cancer.
We were given limited time with this incredible man, and while we are devastated, we hope to honour him in every way possible; for every scan, every poke and every restless night that he has endured.
On behalf of the Scaglione family, we are so grateful for the incredible team at Halton Healthcare's Cancer Care Clinic who have cared for him with compassion over the past year. They have supported not only the "impatient patient," but our entire family, during the hardest days of our lives.
In his honour, we hope to raise funds to support this remarkable clinic so they can continue providing exceptional care to other families facing similar battles.
