There are nearly 90,000 Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA’s - ages 15-39) diagnosed with cancer in the United States each year. Approximately 500 are diagnosed in and around the DFW area. That’s 8 times the number of pediatric patients. Unlike children, however, there has been a limited focus on the AYA population. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve provided crucial resources, advanced research, and compassionate care to patients and families, changing lives and inspiring hope.
Since 2011...
-RCF has partnered with 16 medical centers and served over 20,000 young cancer patients and their families. We recently added 2 centers in Denver, Colorado.
-In 2025, we distributed over 1,800 care packages through Carley’s Closet.
-We’ve helped over 350 patients preserve their fertility, protecting their future family-building options.
-RCF has mobilized over $2.2 million in research funds, supporting innovative treatments with less toxicity.
