PCA Harvest Hustle 2025 Fun Run

We hope to build on the success of last 2024's Turkey Trot Fun Run with another fun run with a different theme to mix things up. Introducing... THE HARVEST HUSTLE! Here are all the details on this year's fun run:
WHO: Young Fives through fifth grade students will run! Sixth graders will help with the event. Parents and friends will make up our cheering section.
WHEN: We'll fundraise throughout the month of October, capping it all off with The Harvest Hustle on Friday, October 31 at 1:15 by the bleachers.
This event will take place directly after the elementary Fall Fest, so students are welcome (and encouraged!) to stay in their "harvest" costumes for the race!
This event brings our students together for fun and memory-making (and a little friendly competition) while raising funds that directly support their learning experience. As a private Christian school, fundraising helps us bridge the gap between tuition and the full cost of educating our student body. Proceeds from the Harvest Hustle will go to:
Purchasing items to improve classroom libraries and reading nooks. Depending on the needs of each classroom, funds could be spent on items like a wide variety of books at many different reading levels, low sturdy shelving, ambient lighting, comfortable seating options, etc.
Upgrading existing elementary classroom furniture in favor of items that work better for cooperative learning. Items like modular student tables that can be rearranged quickly for group or individual work, whiteboard tables to support brainstorming and group problem-solving, mobile teacher stations and storage units to keep the classroom organized and agile will all be considered depending on funds raised.
We invite families to cheer, sponsor, or volunteer as we come together in a healthy, fun way to support our school and our students.
