Thank you for your support!

Presbyterian Ear Institute had 18 incredible Sole Men (see their pages below) who volunteered to be Ambassadors at PEI's Wine Women & Shoes - Heels for Hearing event! These outstanding men took on the task of sharing PEI's mission and raising funds collectively while competing to be crowned PEI's 2024 King of Sole! Not only did they meet their initial goal of $15,000, but they beat it, multiple times! These amazing men raised $28,979 that will directly support the 6 life-changing programs at PEI that provide early diagnosis, intervention, education and rehabilitation of deafness to children in New Mexico!

In case you missed the event on September 7th, the amazing Grant Harvey was crowned King of Sole, raising $10,755 with his passion and enthusiasm for helping children! Thank you Grant for embracing this challenge whole heartedly, learning everything you could about PEI, cochlear implant technology and sharing our mission with so many! Congratulations!

We are also incredibly proud to have crowned our Runner-Up, Josh Herrera, as Prince of Pump, raising $3,350 in honor of his Jiddou, Harry Hakeem, who was not only a cochlear implant recipient, but an avid advocate for PEI from the time he regained his hearing until his passing, just one year ago. Josh and his whole family, have taken PEI on with passion and love and continue to support our mission with every event, every fundraiser and every time we need help!  Thank you, Josh and the entire extended Hakeem family!

We are so proud to have had such an amazing turnout from our Sole Men & their supporters! Thank you for helping us give the precious gift of hearing and speaking with your support! Each of you are HEAR-O's.
