2025 King of Sole Competition supporting Presbyterian Ear Institute

PEI gave me the gift of hearing. I’m fundraising so other Deaf kids can hear, speak, and thrive too!
Hey Everyone!
My name is Adam, I was born deaf but was fortunate enough to receive bilateral cochlear implantation before I turned than two years old. Despite being so young, I still remember a lot of about my time at PEI. The staff at the Presbyterian Ear Institute were always so caring, supportive and made me feel welcome from the start. I remeber the teachers always went above and beyond, and they helped me understand the new world of sound and speech.
Its for this reason, I'm very excited to raise money for the Presbyterian Ear Institute because they gave me the amazing gift of sound through my cochlear implants! I volunteered to be a Sole Man at PEI's 2025 Wine Women and Shoes - Heels for Hearing fundraiser! I have been tasked with raising $1,000 to support PEI's School for Oral Deaf Education, where Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children listen, learn and speak!Without the Presbyterian Ear Institute, I might never of had the ability to hear or speak. I think everyone should be given the same opportunities that were provided to me. The $1,000 I will raise will go a long way in helping others. Any donations will go directly to helping others get hearing devices and the support they need, just like I did!
The Presbyterian Ear Institute is truly a great cause, and by donating you would be making a big difference in someone's life.
