About PEI Walk

As we are unable to come together for the annual Go-Kart Indy due to COVID-19, it is more important than ever to rally as a community and support families affected by Huntington disease.

Let's stand together as we walk alone.

We hope you can support this event. HSC relies heavily on the money raised through fundraising events. Your continued support at this difficult time will ensure we are still able to provide funding to world-leading research into treatments for Huntington disease, as well as vital support services to individuals and families affected by Huntington disease.

All donations and contributions made to our event before September 30 are still matched by an anonymous donor dollar for dollar! Please consider a donation today!

Walk any (or all days) from September 1 - October 31 where you choose! Register below!

Your registration also counts you for the Huntington Heroes National Virtual Walk!

We will be walking on the same day to make this a community event that we can do independently in support of the Huntington Society of Canada (HSC). Under current provincial guidelines, we encourage you to invite up to 50 friends and family, at proper distancing, to walk with you in your neighbourhood, or on your favourite trail.

Let's see your check-ins!

We would love to see everyone share their photos through social media as you complete your walk. Use the hashtag #PEIWalk4HD and don't forget to wear an HD T-Shirt or other outfit so your neighbours know what you're up to!

Start fundraising today!

As a show of our gratitude for your efforts, raise the following amounts to be eligible for ONE of the following thank-you gifts:

$150 - T-Shirt
$300 - TeamHD Hoodie
$500 - TeamHD Jacket

About the Huntington Society of Canada

The Huntington Society of Canada (HSC) strives for a better future for those affected by Huntington disease (HD).  There are three main areas that HSC focuses on:

1. Funding cutting edge research into slowing or stopping the progression of HD

2. Funding Family Services workers across Canada to provide support for those affected by HD

3. Raising awareness of HD, educating the public and health services professionals, as well as advocating for the rights of those affected by HD

Thanks to our generous sponsors!
