ABOUT US

At four Central New York locations, we provide free golf lessons from certified PGA HOPE instructors to over 400 enthusiastic and appreciative veterans and active military annually. We continuously strive to provide a friendly and supportive learning environment that promotes wellness and camaraderie among our program participants.

PROGRAM GROWTH

Our PGA HOPE Programming has been successful beyond our dreams due to the exceptional efforts of our PGA HOPE instructors and PGA HOPE Ambassadors. To ensure sustainability and growth in a high-quality manner, our single most important fundraising task is to raise sufficient funds to hire a full-time (or near full-time) PGA REACH Coordinator to manage better, in a more timely and comprehensive manner, the administrative, marketing/promotion, and fundraising elements of PGA HOPE (and PGA REACH generally).

WHY IT MATTERS

By the End of 2023, we will have experienced substantial program growth. Highlights include: 

• Conducted Spring Section Training Program, Resulting in the Addition of 19 New PGA HOPE Certified Instructors 

• Growth from 1 Program Site to 4 Program Sites 

• Overall Program Participant Growth from approximately 350 Participants in 2022 to Over 400 Participants in 2023 

• Growth of our Signature Program at Turning Stone Resort (the most significant single PGA HOPE Program site in the U.S. in 2022) by 15-20 Participants, including incorporation of a PGA HOPE League for PGA HOPE Program Graduates to Enhance our Wellness and Camaraderie Objectives

PGA REACH will provide a dollar-for-dollar match up to $10,000 of what we raise locally. We hope you will partner with us to impact local Veterans in our Section.
