ABOUT US

Twelve PGA HOPE programs in Northern Ohio provide physical, mental, and emotional rehabilitation to over 250 Veterans and Active-Duty military a year. PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is a 6-8 week program taught by PGA and LPGA Professionals, open to any Veteran.

PROGRAM GROWTH

In 2020, the Northern Ohio PGA had two HOPE programs. In 2023 it has grown to twelve. During the past three years, our program has grown by six hundred percent. This significant increase is a testament to the quality of the program and the demand for its services. Our goal for 2024 is to train more professionals to meet the needs of our veteran community.

WHY IT MATTERS

The funds raised from PGA National Day of HOPE will be used towards a 2024 PGA HOPE Cup, where the twelve programs will be invited to bring their lead professional and HOPE graduates for a day of celebration. The 2023 PGA HOPE Cup was played at Portage Country Club on September 27th, boasting fifty players in a five-person scramble format. PGA REACH will provide a dollar-for-dollar match up to $10,000 of what we raise locally. We hope you will partner with us to impact local Veterans in our Section.
