PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH South Central, the charitable arm of the South Central PGA Section. PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. The program operates at 10 facilities throughout Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Southern Kansas and introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum led by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency.
Since the inception of HOPE programming in The South Central PGA, we have grown from 2 facilities reaching 20 veterans to now reaching nearly 300 veterans at 10 facilities. With over 300 more veterans on a waiting list and one of the country's highest per capita veteran populations, PGA National Day of HOPE will help us deliver more programming to even more veterans in the future.
WHY IT MATTERS
All money raised through the National Day of HOPE Campaign will be reinvested directly into programming. We have an overwhelming interest in the program and want to reach a point where we can keep all Veterans in.
PGA REACH will provide a dollar-for-dollar match up to $10,000 of what we raise locally.
We hope you will partner with us to impact local Veterans in our Section.
