Congratulations to everyone who helped make this year's Polar Plunge such an incredible event! Thank you to our teams and individual participants for the incredible turnout and fundraising efforts that made this event such a success. We're also thrilled to recognize The Icebreakers, who were selected as the Team Incentive winners, for their outstanding support and dedication. Start your New Year with a chill that warms hearts! On January 1, 2026, join hundreds of brave plungers at Easton’s Beach (First Beach) in Newport for A Wish Come True’s 22nd Annual Polar Plunge Challenge. Every dollar raised helps grant heartfelt wishes for local children with life-threatening illnesses — like Nicholas (11, Jamestown, RI), who dreams of a Celtics Experience.

Whether you’re plunging solo, joining a team, or cheering from the shore, your participation helps grant magical wishes for families right here in Rhode Island, Southeastern and Central Massachusetts, and Eastern Connecticut.

HOW IT WORKS: PLUNGE REGISTRATION

Every dollar raised supports children with life-threatening illnesses, and participants have until January 1, 2026 to raise $100 for an EXCLUSIVE Polar Plunge beanie and $500 for a EXCLUSIVE VIP hoodie too, with follow-up after that date to redeem your incentives

2️⃣ Create your One Cause User Account

You'll need to provide your full name, email and password or sign in using Facebook or Google.

3️⃣ Register for Polar Plunge

Double-check your details, choose your payment option, and hit “Submit” to complete your registration! At this time, please consider making an additional donation to granting magical wishes.

4️⃣ Registration Complete

You're officially registered. Please note, if you choose to, a fundraising page is created on your behalf if you choose to maximize your impact and contribution to A Wish Come True.

Go Beyond the Plunge

Gather your friends, family, coworkers, or classmates and create a team fundraising page. Set your goal, customize your page, and share your link on social media to rally support. Raise $1,000 or more to be entered to win $1,500!

Grab your besties, coworkers, loved ones or family and dive in together!

2️⃣ Identify a Team Captain & Name Your Team!

Choose your Team Captain and come up with a great team name! Your captain will create the team fundraising page, so keep your team name handy for registration.

3️⃣ Click the Join or Start a Team Button
Sign up below and officially join the coolest event of the season. If you're a Team Captain, select "Start Your Own Team" by entering your team name. If you're joining an existing team, just choose it from the dropdown list.

4️⃣ Create Your One Cause User Account
