2022 Disney Princess Half Marathon

I am heading to the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend in February! As a member of Team No Kid Hungry, I have committed to raising money during my training to help end childhood hunger in America. 1 in 6 kids in the United States may face hunger this year. I'm doing this for the kids out there who need help with food security and for the adults I know who grew up with it. I remember my grandmother telling me stories about how her mother was able to help feed others in their community during the depression. My grandmother was one of 10 children. They didn't have much themselves, but my great-grandmother would help when she could. 

Last year was tough on families and this year things haven't necessarily been better. In 2020 I was able to make a donation to a Central Florida Food bank to help people get the things they needed. It was a fantastic decision, so this year I'm upping the ante.
