Big Heart, Short Walk | Esophageal Cancer Awareness

About Big Heart, Short Walk | Esophageal Cancer Awareness

Please join us on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 to raise money and awareness, for Esophageal Cancer. The research for this aggressive disease is incredibly underfunded, so we know every penny raised will make an impact! When my dad was first diagnosed, we googled walks or events to support funding to raise awareness and research for this terrible disease, and our searches kept coming up empty. That ends now.

Most cases of Esophageal Cancer can be prevented if symptoms are recognized and caught early, but there is unfortunately such little awareness to this terrible disease, and because of that, this cancer is increasing at a faster rate than any other cancer in the US.

If you are interested in hanging out with us on Saturday, April 27th, we ask that you PLEASE register, or RSVP, as our location is requesting a head count. This will be a very low-key, non-chip timed, event, and any and all donations and registering need to take place via this site, rather than at the event.

You don’t have to know Scott, or attend the walk to donate or to help raise awareness. So many people have been affected by this terrible disease, and like us, didn’t know where to turn to show support.

Check back on this page for event updates, and if there are any questions, please feel free to email me directly: TaylorKrahl@gmail.com
