Hello, my name is Patricia Joseph, Project Coordinator with the Kansas University Medicine Practice Association, Psychiatry Department. I also work as a participant services strategist for Goodwill Industries of Kansas - Mission Services.
My favorite quote is from Isaiah 41:10 (CSB): "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand."
I joined the Queen Bee Court because of my belief that, as people of faith, we are called to serve and uplift others. This opportunity allows me to support two incredible causes—both of which provide critical support to those in need. It is also a wonderful chance for me to step outside my comfort zone, grow personally, and connect with others who are committed to service and leadership.
Please consider making a financial gift to these ministries that serve more than 2,400 families with children every year.
Harbor House provides a safe place for survivors of severe domestic violence to rebuild their lives. St. Anthony Family Shelter provides emergency housing exclusively for families with children. Families at both shelters have access to three meals a day, snacks, medical support, housing stabilization support, information about finding a job, and so much more. Both shelters accept people regardless of their faith or experiences in life.
About me
The roots of my family began in Haiti, where my parents and older sibling lived until the early 90s. Amidst the upheaval of a coup d'état, they made the courageous decision to seek a new beginning in Kansas. My brother and I were born here in Wichita and grew up as two of six siblings. Today, I’m surrounded by the joy and energy of my three spirited nieces and seven lively nephews, who never fail to bring a smile to my face. Family has always been a cornerstone of my life, and their love and support are incredibly meaningful to me.
I attend Redeemer Church where I serve in the Children's Ministry. I also participate in the Junior League of Wichita, where we focus on projects that support local organizations and initiatives; The W at the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce to foster connections and collaborations with other professionals committed to improving our community; and I coach volleyball and track at Trinity Academy, where I mentor young athletes. Through these roles, I strive to give back and make a positive impact in different areas of our community.
