Queen Bee 2024 Campaign

Join me in supporting individuals and families facing homelessness and domestic violence.

Hi, my name is Stephanie Forbes, and I’m a Senior Sales Director for Mary Kay.

I am honored to be on the Queen Bee Court this year because of my passion for helping and supporting women. I’m excited to team up with other professional women to raise money for two very important organizations that are critical for our community. I have been supporting the Mary Kay Ash Foundation for victims of domestic violence for many years.

Being a Queen Bee is a way I can specifically help local women and children by raising funds for Harbor House Family Violence Shelter. Also, I wanted to raise funds for St Anthony’s Family Shelter because it is the only Wichita-area shelter exclusively dedicated to helping families with children.

My favorite quote is, “May the Lord Bless you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” This Numbers 6:24-26 Biblical passage is the blessing I pray for the residents of both shelters that are open to persons regardless of their faith or background.

About me

My husband and I grew up in Pittsburg, KS, where we attended St Mary’s-Colgan schools and were members of Our Lady of Lourdes. Our family, including our six children, Ashton 22, Kendall 21, Landon 19, Trip 18, Brandt 14, and Sutton 4, have been members of St Francis of Assisi for the past 20 years. My husband and I recently got involved with Shepherd’s Way and I have served on various committees at St Francis and Bishop Carroll. My husband played and managed professional baseball for 24 years following his college career at Wichita State so we traveled a lot and were active in various philanthropic endeavors!
