Join me in supporting individuals and families facing homelessness and domestic violence.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in a hospital “where all the action is.” I even asked to visit the ER parking lot just to watch and learn how everything worked. Today, I am living out that dream as a Pediatric ICU nurse, caring for children and supporting families every day.

My heart for helping others extends beyond my work at the hospital. This year, I set a goal to serve directly in the community by volunteering and preparing meals for Hope Ranch. Saying “yes” to the Queen Bee court was inspired by my passion to raise awareness and funds for Harbor House and St. Anthony, as well as my deep sense of God’s calling to go where I am needed most. Guided by my favorite Bible verse, Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely; in all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths,” I place my trust in God to lead my steps. I am also an active member at my Church serve on several hospital committees dedicated to outreach and community betterment.

The Queen Bee campaign is especially close to my heart because my mom, Colleen Mikesell, was also a member of the Queen Bee court several years ago. Family is my greatest blessing, and I would not be who I am today without the love and support of my parents, brothers, and sister. I also have a special guy in my life, and together we are looking forward to what the future may hold.
