Queen Bee 2025 Campaign supporting Catholic Charities Wichita

I am a nurturer at heart, caring for my family as a homemaker and for my patients as a sonographer. One of my most memorable experiences was delivering triplet baby goats during a blizzard and sleeping in the barn to make sure the momma and babies stayed warm. When I toured Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter and St. Anthony Shelter, I was inspired by my children to step outside my comfort zone and represent the families in those shelters through the Queen Bee court.
I serve my community as a Catechist (CGS), Team Couple with Catholic Engaged Essentials, as a pianist at Mass and as a volunteer sonographer for A Better Choice. One of my favorite quotes comes from Saint Teresa of Calcutta: “Wash the plate not because it is dirty nor because you are told to wash it, but because you love the person who will use it next.”
My husband and I have been married for 27 years, and we are the proud parents of five children, ages 15–26. Our family is also blessed with two grandchildren and have another on the way. We are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. My children have been my greatest inspiration. I often encourage them to embrace opportunities for growth, and I realized it was just as important to model that same mindset in my own personal and professional life.
