Queen Bee 2025 Campaign supporting Catholic Charities Wichita

I am no stranger to St. Anthony Family Shelter and Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter. As a child, I went with my mom to help at the shelter, later volunteered in high school, and today my fiancé and I regularly serve lunch there. I’ve witnessed firsthand how these communities thrive and how even a single dollar can stretch to make a meaningful impact. One of my favorite sayings is, “You don’t have to be sick to get better!” For me, joining the Queen Bee court was an easy yes to continue making a difference.
Before planting my feet firmly in Wichita, I worked as a cruise director and personal shopper on several commercial cruise ships, traveling to five continents and 37 countries. Today, I serve as Director of the Wichita Independent Business Association (WIBA). I also lead ACTS Community at St. Francis of Assisi, serve on the board of Coming Together for a Cure, volunteer at Wichita Festivals events like Riverfest and Autumn & Art, and serve on the volunteer committee for Lead Wichita’s Global Leadership Summit.
I come from a big Irish Catholic family. My parents have been married for 46 years, and I’m one of six siblings with 12 nieces and nephews. I attend both St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and St. Paul Catholic Church at Wichita State. My fiancé, Chevis, and I are engaged to be married on June 27, 2026, and I share my home with my rescue dog, Elmer Stud.
As the Director of the SFA ACTS Women's Retreat I got to choose our Patron Saint. I have a strong connection to our Mother Mary in many ways, but when I learned of her beautiful miracle - Mary Undoer of Knots quickly became one of my favorites! I pray to her often, especially in times conflict, fear & despair.
