Queen Bee 2025 Campaign supporting Catholic Charities Wichita

I am originally from Texas, but Kansas quickly became home with its sunflowers, changing seasons, and strong sense of community. I first came here for college, where I met my husband, Quinton, and we have been rooted here ever since. We are blessed with two teenage sons who keep us on our toes and bring so much joy to our lives. Our family is actively involved at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. When I have free time, you can find me camping, running, tending to my plants, or caring for my little flock of chickens. This year marks my 15th year in education, and I feel truly grateful to serve as the Assistant Principal at Maize Middle School.
Service and servant leadership have always been at the center of my life. In addition to supporting my students and staff each day, I embrace opportunities to give back as president of the Altar Society at Blessed Sacrament, a board member for Girls on the Run Heart of Kansas, and a volunteer in my children’s schools and sports activities. Inspired by St. Catherine of Siena’s words, “Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire,” I said “yes” to the Queen Bee Court to further my mission of philanthropy and love for serving others.
I am honored to serve on the 2025 Queen Bee Court. As part of this role, I am raising funds for Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter and St. Anthony Family Shelter, which provides emergency housing for families with children.
Day 41 in the Bible often marks the moment when trials end and breakthrough begins; Noah’s rain stopped, David defeated Goliath, and Jesus ascended into heaven. I am praying for these families to experience their own Day 41- a day of hope, healing, and new beginnings.
