Sign In and pick up your Race to Our Place tee-shirt behind the Gilson Park Lakeview Center. Use the north entrance on the corner of Lake and Michigan Ave. FREE PARKING in the beach parking lot for all Racers!

Let’s come together on Sunday October 3rd to show how much we can do together at the Race to Our Place at Gillson Park in Wilmette.
You can give adults with developmental disabilities a place to belong, grow, and fully engage as citizens. And also make our community stronger.
Just by walking, dancing to the music, donating, supporting a friend.
After this isolating year let’s not leave anyone alone – let’s come together and keep doing “so much.”

Your support makes a difference
Our Place started with a simple vision: individuals with developmental disabilities should be able to remain in their home community into adulthood, living lives of meaning and purpose. Our mission is to provide supports so that they can attain this vision and build meaningful, productive, socially connected lives here in our community.
Participants choose from close to 40 distinct programs with multiple activities in literacy, arts, vocational training, healthy living, life skills, recreation, service, interactive games, and socials.
We are grateful that you are part of our community and thank you for being so kind and generous.

Registration fees:
Participants and Staff are FREE
Family and Friends $25 Registration Fee
All registered Walkers and Runners receive a Race to Our Place tee-shirt and free parking in Gillson Beach Park.
Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers during the after party at 11:00
