Riverdale Y Annual Broadway Gala 2019

Join us for a star-studded evening as Broadway actors and musicians perform Ragtime at the Riverdale Performing Arts Center. This year, we are honoring January Akselrad and Jennifer Young for the work they have done to combat bullying through their Be a Friend Project, which is an outgrowth of their signature production, It’s Easy! The Friend Strong Musical.

Ragtime cast will include stars from Ain't Too Proud, Come From Away, A Bronx Tale, School of Rock, Fiddler On The Roof, The Visit, The Drowsy Chaperone, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Les Miserables, Anything Goes, Once On This Island, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Catch Me If You Can, Candide, Side Show, Urinetown, Sweeney Todd, 1776, Candide, La Boheme on Broadway, Showboat, August Osage County, Peter & The Starcatcher, Grand Hotel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Motown the Musical, and 42nd Street.

This year the Tony-Award winning composer of Ragtime, Stephen Flaherty, will be in attendance. Flaherty, along with his writing partner, Lynn Ahrens, has been represented on Broadway with hits including - Anastasia, Seussical, Once On This Island, Rocky, the Musical, A Man of No Importance, My Favorite Year, The Glorious Ones, and Little Dancer.

Tickets to attend the Gala are $125.
