Give Day is the largest annual fundraiser at the Rappahannock Area YMCA. I am raising money to ensure that everyone has access to our facilities and programs and has the opportunity to better their mind, body, and spirit.
Check out some of the things we do annually:
• Provide over $750,000 in assistance through our Open Doors program, ensuring that all who want to participate at the Y are able to do so regardless of the ability to pay.
• Empower over 350 children through the YMCA Power Scholars Program.
• Teach over 820 children in the Second Grade Learn-to-Swim program.
• Support 300 children through YMCA’s Bright Beginnings.
• Coach and mentors dozens of children through the YMCA’s Jon Fried Tennis and Education Academy.
• Instruct 450 adults with chronic illnesses through our community health programs.
• Serve 425 adults and 250 children with special needs.Please donate today to continue our community impact for the remainder of 2023!

Throughout my tenure at the Y, I've cultivated numerous friendships and forged deep connections with members of our community. Among these relationships, one of the most profound is with my dear friend Chuck. As I've become acquainted with Chuck and his family, I swiftly recognized the significant role the Y plays in their lives, aiding Chuck in maintaining his health and vitality. My aim in fundraising is to expand our resources, enabling us to better assist individuals like Chuck who are in need. Chuck and his family have profoundly impacted my outlook on life, revealing beauty amidst the chaos. By supporting the Y, you're championing families like Chuck's!
