Habitat for Humanity Manitoba’s 20th Annual Premier Fundraising Ride
For twenty remarkable years, Ride Around the Lake has brought together Manitoba’s most dedicated cyclists, leaders, and community builders for one extraordinary purpose: to change lives through affordable homeownership.
This invitation-only experience unites 60 passionate riders who believe that housing is the foundation for strength, stability, and independence. What began as a bold idea has become a powerful tradition, raising more than $4.5 million since inception.
Last year alone, riders raised an incredible $538,000.
In 2026, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are setting our sights even higher with a goal of $600,000 to support the construction of Habitat homes in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
This isn’t just a ride. It’s a movement on wheels.

What to Expect
Over three unforgettable days, riders will cycle 300 kilometres (100 km per day) through scenic Manitoba landscapes that are as inspiring as the cause itself.
But the true power of this ride isn’t found in the kilometres.
It’s found in the impact.
Every climb conquered.
Every headwind pushed through.
Every finish line crossed.
Each pedal stroke helps build safe, affordable homes for hardworking families right here in our community.
Participants commit to raising a minimum of $3,000 and are responsible for their own transportation and accommodations. In return, they become part of something rare: a tight-knit group of changemakers united by purpose, challenge, and generosity.

As part of this exclusive 20th anniversary experience, riders receive:
- A custom-designed, commemorative cycling kit celebrating two decades of impact
- Three fully supported days of cycling (100 km per day)
