Red Shoe Day of Giving is the largest community fundraiser for San Diego's Ronald McDonald House. It will be held on Thursday, June 4th this year.
As of Monday, March 23rd, Red Shoe Day is still scheduled to take place. However we are continually monitoring the situation and will provide updates on any changes here and through email.
We still need your support in providing our families with a "home away from home" as they care for their hospitalized families. Please see ways that you can help below.
Before Red Shoe Day
Leading up to June 4th, businesses and individuals can raise funds that will help San Diego's Ronald McDonald House offer the comforts of home to families with a hospitalized child.
Register for Red Shoe Day and encourage family, friends and co-workers to donate to your fundraising page.
To learn how you and/or your organization can get involved, please contact Victoria Hirst at (858) 598-2421 or email@example.com
On Thursday, June 4th, over 1,500 volunteers will gather at intersections throughout San Diego from 6:30am - 9:30am and collect donations from morning commuters.
Select the "Join A Team" tab at the top of the screen or the red register button below to sign up on a team.
If you want to create a team and have not reserved an intersection, please contact Victoria Hirst at (858) 598-2448 or firstname.lastname@example.org
If you don't find the team you are looking for, please email email@example.com.
Red Shoe Day of Giving is a fun way to join together with friends, family and co-workers and help families in our community. Your efforts to collect donations supports San Diego's Ronald McDonald House mission to provide warm meals, hot showers, and a comforting place for families to stay when their child is in the hospital.
Whether a family is staying in one of the 56 guest rooms or coming over during the day to use the House services, the Ronald McDonald House is available to ease their burdens.
All of the money collected for Red Shoe Day of Giving stays in San Diego to support families here.
