YMCA Fairfax County Annual Community Gala supporting YMCA Silver Spring
Why Participate
Last year, because of generous business and community donors like you, the YMCA Fairfax County Reston gave over $250,000 in scholarships, providing hundreds of weeks of child care, camp, fitness programs, and memberships to those in need in our community. When the community was in dire need over the pandemic, the Y provided local families:
• Over 100,000 prepackaged meals
• 18 consecutive months of produce
• Monthly blood drives that continue today
The Y also supported the families displaced by the large apartment complex fire in Herndon with food and clothing and a place to play and exercise.

Be a part of our Annual Fundraising Gala! For over 23 years, Gala sponsors have had a major impact on the lives of children and families in our community.
When you invest in the Y, you support an organization that is dedicated to building programs for youth development, for healthy living and for social responsibility. Our mission ensures that no one is turned away from access to Y programs and membership. Pre-pandemic in 2019, the YMCA Fairfax County Reston raised $280,000 from generous business and community donors like you, providing hundreds of weeks of childcare, camp, fitness programs, and memberships to those in need in our community.
