Join us outdoors on Father's Day, Sunday, June 20 starting at 8:30am for a meaningful journey in support of The JCC in Krakow’s Ride for the Living and holocaust survivors. Engage your body, mind and soul in this 60-minute cycling challenge to celebrate the rebirth of Jewish life in Poland. As the number of survivors decrease, we choose to increase awareness. Together, we unite our Jewish communities both here at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades and in Krakow, Poland for a memorable experience. We will never forget.
The ride is sponsored by the Rubach Family and is named for Leon Rubach z"l, who survived the Holocaust as a hidden child in Poland. Proceeds support the JCC in Krakow, Poland and Holocaust education and awareness at the Kaplen JCC.
The Ride for the Living is an annual 60-mile bike ride through the Polish countryside, from Auschwitz-Birkenau to the JCC in Krakow. The ride commemorates the Holocaust and Jewish History in addition to celebrating and supporting the miraculous rebirth of Jewish Life in Poland today.
Register below for this not-to-be-missed experience while supporting the JCC in Krakow and Holocaust education and awareness at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades.
