You can pick up your blanket at Holy Cross Hall on Monday - Friday between 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
Holy Cross Hall will be closed December 24 - January 2.
We will mail the blankets to those who live out of town.
Why Give?
Our school was founded to educate all students to their highest potential by developing religious values, providing excellence in education, and fostering a commitment to service. Over the course of 98 years, Memorial has graduated nearly 20,000 students and transformed them spiritually, intellectually, socially, and emotionally to have all the tools necessary for a successful life after high school.
To this day this remains our commitment to all our students. This year, we kicked off our “Founder’s Month” with Giving Tuesday on Nov. 29. Last year, during our Founder’s “Month of Giving” campaign, we raised a recordbreaking $114,705.02 — far surpassing our goal of $30,000 — and we are counting on you to help us set a record again this year. Overall last year, alumni and benefactors gave more than $1.2 million to Memorial through a mixture of annual fund donations, event revenue, athletic donations, and endowment support.
Through your gifts, we were able to make the following investments in our students and in our school:
- 57% of our student body received $350,000+ in tuition assistance
- $25,000+ in classroom supplies and instructional materials
- New laptops and tablets for our teachers
- 24 students received $115,000+ in college scholarships
- $200,000+ in improvements to the cafeteria, grounds, and building

On January 5, 1925, Reitz Memorial High School opened their doors for the first time. 98 years later, because of our alumni and friends, young women and men continue to graduate rooted in faith, prepared for their next step in life, and committed to serving their brothers and sisters.
To celebrate Reitz Memorial High School’s rich tradition of educating young men and women, and to honor our founder, Francis Joseph Reitz, who founded this school 98 years ago, we are fundraising the entire month of December and concluding on January 6th, 2023.
Our goal is to raise $115,000 by January 6th. Join your class team, invite your classmates, and let's see which class can raise the most money in less than 40 days! Those who donate $98 or more between November 29, 2022 and January 6, 2023 will receive a 98 years of Reitz Memorial blanket!
