2026 Rochester Energy Walk supporting MitoAction

Lace up your shoes, gather your team, and be part of something truly meaningful. The Rochester Energy Walk is more than just a walk, it’s a powerful day of community, connection, and purpose, all in support of individuals and families impacted by mitochondrial disease.
What began as one woman’s simple question, “Why isn’t there a walk in Rochester?”, has grown into a beloved annual tradition. In 2019, host Stacy Meyers turned her personal loss into action, creating a space where families could come together, be seen, and feel supported. Stacy walks in honor of her dad, Todd, and her uncle Jesi, both of whom lost their lives to mitochondrial disease. She also walks alongside the Bellaire family, whose daughter Katelin lives with this devastating condition every day.
This walk is for them, and for so many others navigating the challenges of mitochondrial disease.
💚 Why You Should Join Us:
Whether you walk as an individual, start a team, or volunteer your time, your presence matters. Every step taken helps fuel hope, connection, and progress for the mitochondrial disease community.
