Runners and walkers are welcome for this very fun and very brisk race through the South Mountain Reservation. Grab your favorite winter hat, lace up your sneakers, and let's hit the pavement. We'll even supply you with a cup of hot cocoa after the race!

Participants will enjoy a certified scenic "out and back" course through the tree-lined streets of the South Mountain Reservation. This is a USATF-NJ Grand Prix Event worth 500 points. There will be awards presented for 5K finishers by five-year age groups, fundraising awards, door prizes, a DJ, great snacks and plenty of fun! 

This is a rain, snow or shine event! Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and get ready to have some fun.

• 8:30 a.m. - Registration
• 9:30 a.m. - Free Kids’ Fun Run (no need to register)
• 9:50 a.m. - Race Warm Up
• 10:00 a.m. - 5K Race Begins (walkers will begin after the runners start)
• 10:45 a.m. - 5K Race Awards - Door Prizes

Light Refreshments will be served.

Fundraising Prizes will be awarded to: all members of any team that raises $50 or more 

5K Race Awards (male and female finishers) will be awarded to:

• First, Second and Third Place Overall (male and female)
• First, Second and Third Place Finishers in Age Groups (male and female): 9 and Under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; 85 and over.

Fun for the Whole Family:
A free Kids Fun Run will take place at 9:30 a.m. No sign up required; announcement will be made prior. All participants receive a ribbon.

Participants may use strollers during the 5K - strollers will start at the back of the participants group.
