I am joining Team Tenneco to participate in the Run United 2021 Virtual Marathon to help students in Southeastern Michigan.
It seems a little strange to be signing up for a Virtual Marathon since I can only run about a quarter of a mile at a time. I won't be running. Ill be rowing. The invitation from Team Tenneco said we could participate by bicycling, so why not rowing? The average speed for marathon runners in my age group is about the same as my rowing speed. I expect to complete the 26.2 miles (42195) meters in five segments. If you happen to be down by Argo Pond in Ann Arbor, maybe you will see me in an apple green single rowing shell.
