How to begin your fundraising journey!
Fundraising may seem intimidating …but is truly a piece of cake with the right tools and a few easy tips!
1) Build your page. Make it personal. Set a goal, share your story and upload some fun photos!
2) Make the first donation. Show your commitment and determination by making that first gift (can be as low as $10!).
3) Send emails or personal messages to your inner circle. Don't doubt the generosity of others, especially those close to you. Individuals are more likely to give to a charity when their family or friends are involved.
4) Share and fundraise through your social media outlets. Use #RunWalkandRoll to stay connected. Make sure to follow our new Facebook event page to stay updated on our fundraising leaders and other exciting race announcements. https://www.facebook.com/runwalkrollseries/
5) Does your company have a matching gift program? Make an impact with your workplace and double your donations.
6) Host a mini event before the big day. This is a great way to get together with your team, family and/or friends. Ask for an entrance fee or put out a donation bucket. Examples: community potluck, movie/game night, bake sale.

7) Send thank you notes. Express how grateful you are for your donors generosity and support.
