About Scholarship Fund - Class of 2023

The Class of 2023 seeks to remove financial barriers that may prevent students from taking part in service and immersion trips. The inspiration for this effort began when several members of the Class of 2023 returned from a wide variety of service and immersion trips that took us from areas within the Baltimore community to thousands of miles away in places like Belize, Peru, and Italy. Although many of us are fortunate to take part in these opportunities, financial hurdles are sometimes a roadblock for others as the cost of these experiences can surpass $3,000.

The goal of the fund is to enable all students to experience an opportunity to exit their comfort zone, immerse themselves in another culture or community, and to serve others in the true Ignatian spirit, which calls us to "Go Forth and Set the World on Fire."

We aim to raise $50,000 and create an endowment fund, which will guarantee each future student the opportunity to participate in any trip he wishes.

We hope you’ll join us in making these transformational opportunities accessible to more Loyola Dons.
