THANK YOU TO ALL PLUNGERs, CHICKENS AND RUNNERS!
DONATIONS STILL BEING ACCEPTED!
Saturday, Feb. 24, @ Aquatic Park.
The Plunge is not a swim: it's a party and you're invited. Make a splash with costumed friends for the iconic Polar Plunge (costumes aren't required, but they sure are fun)! Plungers can jump into the water all the way, just dip in and out, or stay completely dry and still enjoy the experience! Every Plunger must raise a minimum of $125 and will receive a Polar Plunge T-shirt and lunch. Cool School participants must raise a minimum of $50 to Plunge but must raise a minimum of $125 to earn the T-shirt and lunch. Additional fundraising is encouraged and incentives can be earned.
THE RUN - Please note, walk-up runner registrations on 2/24 for the 5K or 10K will not be accepted after 9am.
Warm up before you cool down! Prior to the Plunge, join us for the scenic 5K/10K timed runs along the Bay with beautiful views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge. Registration is $45 for the 5K and $55 for the 10K. Runners are encouraged to participate in the Plunge by raising an additional $125 and party with our Plungers who will get their chill on for Special Olympics.

THE POST PLUNGE PARTY
We like to say that the Plunge is a minor inconvenience to a great party and we aren't kidding! This year, our After Splash Bash will take place at the San Francisco Brewing Company just up the street from Aquatic Park. Everyone who raises a minimum of $125 is invited - come celebrate with other brave souls with warm hearts. Food and beverages will be provided and everyone 21 years of age or older will receive one beer ticket.
*Participants can purchase guest tickets at the time of registration - $30 for adults (does not include beer ticket) and $15 for children (ages 12 & under).
*Participants must raise a minimum of $125 for free admittance.
Dash or Splash or do both - join us for the coolest party of the year!
Be bold and get cold for our amazing Special Olympics athletes! Register today and make a difference for thousands of children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
We reserve the right to delay, shorten or, in rare circumstances, cancel an event due to inclement weather. The safety of participants and spectators is always our top priority, and we work with local law enforcement to be sure conditions are safe for participants. In all our years of the event, we have yet to cancel a Plunge (fingers crossed!). No refunds will be offered if the event is cancelled or if you cannot attend. We’ll make all possible attempts — by email, website and social media — to inform participants if changes are made to an event.
