About the Cause
Walkathon builds community and teamwork among all of our SHA
students! Our Student Council officers take the primary leadership role
in rallying SHA girls to reach schoolwide, grade and homeroom goals.
Funds raised support all aspects SHA, including:

Funds raised support all aspects SHA, including:
- Overall support for SHA which helps us provide top-quality programming and tuition support
- Class treasury funding so that each grade has the resources necessary to build their SHA Sisterhood
- Walkathon Grants Program for student-driven service or leadership projects. The grants program is a great way for students who are working on projects outside of SHA to earn some money to support their projects.
- Student Council funding so that our student leaders can execute initiatives and activities that enrich the fabric of SHA for all of our students

We begin our school year with a fun, team-fundraising effort that benefits the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, treasuries of the individual classes and organizations within our community.
Walkathon will be held Friday, October 8, 2021.
