Did you know there are over 485,000 people in the Greater Charlotte area living at or below the poverty line? Over 155,000 are children at risk of going hungry every day. But each of us can make a difference with a simple donation today.

Funds are Second Harvest’s greatest need. With every $1 donation, they can provide 7 pounds of food into the community. Funds help keep refrigerated trucks on the road, allowing them to pick up and distribute fresh produce, dairy and meats to over 950 partner agencies. The Food Bank can also purchase products by the pallet - securing much-needed items at great pricing. In short, funds ensure that critical and healthy foods reach more people in need.
