In Connecticut, nearly 400,000 residents are considered food insecure, including children. Connecticut Foodshare supports individuals and families – from one end of the state to the other – by addressing root causes, creating long-term solutions, and distributing nutritious food through local partner programs in an effort to alleviate hunger.
Being a local-based organization, Slalom has a deep connection to our communities. And one of the biggest on-going issues facing our community today is food insecurity. Slalom Hartford’s goal is to provide 28,000 meals through monetary donations which are open to friends and family and effort volunteering through our current employees.
