2025 Spring Appeal supporting Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo

Your generous donation ensures our ability to care for all of these important animals — to save and preserve their future, and educate our community in the process.
Contributions, of any amount, help us maintain the important work happening here at the zoo. From excellent animal care and conservation to engaging guest experiences and public education, we rely on your help to implement our important mission.
Please send what you can to ensure the continued care and protection of some of the most vulnerable species on the planet.
Now that we’ve grown up, we recognize that cherished fun was the catalyst for developing our lifelong love of nature. A zoo is far more than a place to look at animals. It’s a place to step into a world of natural wildlife. It’s a place that sparks imagination and joy. It’s a place where conservation research happens. It’s a place of exceptional animal care. It’s a place where we can all come together to learn about the planet we share with so many amazing species. It’s a place where we make lifelong memories. Our zoo is a place full of memories worth making and wildlife worth saving.
Now, the time has come for us to impart such impactful memories onto the next generation, to be devoted stewards of nature. Please, make your contribution to the Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo to help care for our animals, to protect their wild counterparts, and to foster so many memories in the making for the next generation of nature lovers.
The Rosamond Gifford Zoo gives us all the ability to travel across the globe into wetlands, deserts, forests, the depths of the ocean, plains, and other rugged, natural areas, all without leaving our community. Where else in our community can you see species such as Amur tigers, Asian elephants, and Turkmenian markhor in their habitats? Where else can you step into a green-filled aviary full of diverse bird species as they fly overhead? Where else can you peep through aquatic worlds and desert landscapes to get up-close-and-personal looks at spotted garden eels, eastern hellbenders, and Gila monsters? Where else would you and your loved ones be able to make these enduring, special memories?
For decades, the Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo has been a vital part of our community, and a leader in the fight for wildlife conservation. We need your help to continue our mission. With your generous support, we can relive our favorite wildlife memories, create new ones, and make sure everyone can connect with nature for generations to come.
Help us create a future where we all thrive. Your new favorite memory is waiting to be made at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
Always grateful,
