Calling all teens! Parents! Community coalitions! Student councils! Prevention Clubs!
September marks National Suicide Prevention Month – a month to remember the life of Johnny Stack and the work he continues to do on this earth through his warning to his mother, “Marijuana ruined my mind and my life.”
If he were here, Johnny would be sharing his story. He’s not here, so we are going to do it for him through Johnny's Ambassadors, a nonprofit 501(c)3 named in his honor, EIN 85-0593925.
This year, we’re changing it up a bit instead of having a walk! We’re going to encourage people to live a #THCFree life! Through photos, Johnny’s Ambassadors are going to show the world all the fun activities you can do WITHOUT using THC! How do YOU live a #THCFree life?
Many of our teens, families, and communities have been impacted by THC products (vapes, dabs, smoke, edibles). Every day, millions of people struggle with drug use, mental illness, and suicidal ideation. We know THC products don't make things better - they make things worse. What do you do instead? How do you live a #THCFree lifestyle?
Through our photos, on Sept. 23, we’re going to show the world HUNDREDS of things you can do instead of using THC products. Show us what gives you joy!
First, click REGISTER NOW and sign up. While you’re registering, please donate to Johnny’s Ambassadors to help us continue our important work (optional). This is our annual fundraiser to support our 2025 programs. Our goal is $75,000! We can do it with your support.
Then, any time between NOW AND BEFORE Sept. 23, please upload a photo or video of yourself, your club, friends, or your team living your best #THCFree life! Print and hold this sign in your photo doing your favorite activity!
If you'd rather not post a photo, you can simply click DONATE NOW. Invite your friends to join the campaign and support Johnny's Ambassadors!
Thank you so much for helping us save our youth from the harms of THC!
Johnny's Ambassadors was founded by Laura and John Stack to honor the life of their beloved 19-year-old son, Johnny Kenneth Stack, who died by suicide on November 20, 2019, after he became psychotic from dabbing and vaping high-potency THC concentrates in Colorado.
Our nonprofit, Johnny's Ambassadors Youth THC Prevention, now educates parents, teens, and communities about the dangers of today's potent THC products (marijuana, dabs, vapes, edibles) on adolescent brain development, psychosis, and suicide.
Please help us spread the word about the harms of youth THC use. Click the REGISTER button today and show us a photo of you living a #THCFree lifestyle!
Or just donate to support our work! Thank you for being one of Johnny's Ambassadors!
