The #StudentAutismChallenge

Christopher's Voice has several missions  - ​

1. Provide free recreational activities for children with autism

2. Provide free swim lessons to autistic children 

3. Prevent wandering of autistic children and provide search and rescue solutions 

4. Providing financial assistance to families with autistic children. ​

5. Provide free autism training  to first responder.  

6. Provide free Christopher's Emergency Sensory Kits to first responders; each kit contains sensory toys, noise canceling head phones, coloring books and guidance documents that first responders can rely upon when encountering autistic children on emergency calls for service. 

7. Christopher's Corner - provide free books to schools that commit a designated area of the library to special needs children. 

In 2017 Christopher's Voice endeavored to bring more awareness, understanding and TRAINING to local first responders. The challenge was simple and effective and has since reached over 300 police and fire agencies around the country. Each participating agency 

1. created their own departments unique autism police patch 

2. replaced their uniform patches and emergency vehicle logos with their newly designed patch during Autism Awareness Month (April)

3. created new, or improved existing autism training protocols within their department

4. Fund raise and donate proceeds to local autism programs

By accepting the challenge tens of Thousands of Dollars have been raised and donated by first responders around the country.
