About Long Beach Stop Traffic Walk

The Stop Traffic Walk was created as a way to help communities become champions in the fight against human trafficking. On February 3rd, 2024 the community will come together to raise funds and awareness for the nation's largest human trafficking rescue and rehabilitation operation, Where Hope Lives. The funds we raise through Stop Traffic Walk in Long Beach will help rescue trafficked individuals and give them the skills necessary to build a strong and vibrant life.

The Stop Traffic Walk event will open at 10:00AM in the upper lot at Dream City Church Long Beach with games for children, food vendors, entertainment, and more. The walk will take place at 11:00AM - we'll start at DCLB and then walk up towards Signal Hill Park and do a loop back down to DCLB. This is your time to take a stand for the injustice that is taking place today and also show your support for those who have survived.

T-Shirts will be available for purchase on location

Why Participate?

HUMAN TRAFFICKING is modern-day slavery and it’s believed to be the third-largest criminal activity in the world. There are an estimated 40 million victims of human trafficking, globally.

The Stop Traffic Walk raises funds for the nation’s largest human trafficking rescue and rehabilitation operation in North America. The funds you raise through the Stop Traffic Walk will also help local efforts to raise awareness through the Where Hope Lives operation. Our goal is to rescue trafficked individuals and give them the skills necessary to build a strong, vibrant life.
