I support the Peoria Family YMCA because it is not like other gyms - it is so much more.  I am in awe of how responsive and nimble the YMCA has been in the past year to address the ever-changing needs of member and the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.  From running blood drives, to expanding child care services when schools moved to remote learning, to providing family activities like the weekend outdoor movies, to giving members the opportunity to "check out" fitness equipment to use at home while the YMCA was required to be closed, to offering virtual classes to member and non-members alike during the shutdown - those are just a few of the things the YMCA has done to meet community needs.
