The Youth Mental Health First Aid USA Training and Manual describes protective factors that facilitate early intervention for any developing mental health issues. Your contribution will support many of the protective factors that we provide at the ALIVE Center to include:
- Encouraging regular school attendance and increased academic performance through our mentoring and tutoring programs
- Developing good problem-solving skills
- Developing good self-esteem
- Availability of healthy supervised recreation
- Having a good social support system
