About Tampa Over The Edge 2019

Over The Edge is a unique and thrilling way for you and your company, friends, or family to support GiGi’s Playhouse Tampa. If you crave adventure and want to help support our brand new playhouse, then Over The Edge is for you!

Please join GiGi’s Playhouse Tampa on October 26, 2019 when over 90 brave souls will be given the opportunity to rappel down a 12-story building overlooking gorgeous Tampa Bay.

Every day, children and adults with Down syndrome face different obstacles. We love Over the Edge because a 12-story building is the same obstacle for everyone! We are excited this event aligns perfectly with our goal: bringing all walks of life together to conquer fears TOGETHER and to foster ACCEPTANCE.

Participants commit to donating a minimum of $1,000 to join us on this adventure. Invite your friends, family or co-workers to help you raise the funds to go Over the Edge! The money will go towards the necessities of our Playhouse, but most importantly will give our Playhouse family the educational and social tools to achieve what many thought impossible.

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!”

Why Participate?

GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center’s mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. We offer free therapeutic and educational programming to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Through free programs and through our Generation G Campaign for global acceptance, we EMPOWER families by maximizing opportunities for daily achievement and lasting acceptance. To ensure lasting acceptance, we must show the world what individuals with Down syndrome are truly capable of achieving as students, co-workers, volunteers, friends, and valued members of their communities. Our program outcomes help advance this vital social impact goal.
