TCS New York City Marathon supporting National Ovarian Cancer Coalition

I am running the TCS New York City Marathon in honor of my mom and ALL other women who are affected by ovarian cancer. Let's find a cure!
This year, I am running the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon event as a member of NOCC TEAM TEAL, because I want to raise awareness and funding for National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
In 1998, my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In hearing these words spoken, her whole life changed. She was forced to speed up her life, in order to grow the family that she yearned for. Multiple treatments, medications, surgeries, and long nights later, she came out cancer free! Her determination (stubbornness!), love, and courage is what I wish to run with on November 3rd.
Unfortunately, these outcomes are not shared by all women who are diagnosed. We must help improve the lives of individuals, families and communities touched by ovarian cancer, and I cannot do it alone! Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Dollars raised for the NOCC support national programs and local market initiatives to heighten awareness of the subtle signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, assist newly-diagnosed patients throughout the country, provide ongoing support to caregivers, and advocate for the advancement of ovarian cancer research.
