After running the 2019 Boston Marathon and NYC Marathon, I really got the itch to complete all 6 World Majors and fundraise for a great charity while doing it! I'm very excited to fundraise for another one of my favorite organizations, Team IMPACT for this years Chicago Marathon! After hearing about the great work that they do year after year through my time working at '47, I fell in love with Team IMPACT and all that it stands for.
Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide an unforgettable experience to a child going through something bigger than themselves.
For those of you who don't know about Team IMPACT, here is a brief explanation the organization and why I love it so much:
Team IMPACT provides a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for a child and their family to connect with a college athletic team and local campus community,. Team IMPACT can fill the void left when traditional support systems are lacking or have negative implications. For each child that walks through their doors, they develop a personalized game plan to make sure the child is placed in an environment that will provide all the guidance and support that they need.
