Customize Your Fundraising Page

Always start by customizing your Fundraising Page. This is where you can direct people to learn more about NPF and support your fundraising efforts.

After you have registered for a local Cycle event, log in to your Fundraising Dashboard and select "Manage My Page" from the dropdown menu.

The best fundraising efforts start by sharing your story. On your page you can write a personal message about your connection to psoriatic disease and customize it with photos, videos, links, and a personal goal. We recommend you update your Fundraising Page link to make sharing your page with others easier.

Make a Self-Donation and Ask for Donations

Inspire others by making a meaningful donation toward your fundraising efforts! Go to your Fundraising Page and click "Donate"!

Share your story with psoriatic disease and explain why raising funds to support the NPF mission is important to you. Consider creating a team, fundraise together, and ride together.

Ask your network (friends, family, company, colleagues, peers, and more) to donate by sharing your Fundraising Page link via email, text message, or social media.

If people cannot commit to joining you, then asking for a donation is a great alternative for them to still support your efforts and help drive the NPF mission forward.

Connect Your Social Networks

Share your fundraising efforts across all social networks to spread the word. Leveraging your accounts can make you 3x as likely to reach your goal!

  • Facebook: Create a Facebook Fundraiser! Go to "Manage My Page" and from there you can connect your Facebook account to your Fundraising Page. Share your fundraiser with friends, get donations and reach your goal.
  • Instagram: Share your story through photos, post fundraising milestones, and utilize the story feature for quick updates.
  • Twitter: Tweet your Fundraising Page link and share fundraising updates with your friends.

Create a Fundraising Event

There are SO many different ways you can create a fundraising event, both in person and virtual. See just a few ideas below!

  • Partner with a restaurant to host a dinner party, where a percentage of proceeds are donated back to NPF
  • Create a SuperBowl Squares Challenge or Fantasy Football League
  • Plan a 5K or cycle around town, and ask the participants to make a donation in place of an entry fee
  • Hold a garage sale or bake sale
  • Host a Poker Tournament, where the buy-in is donated back to NPF

Leading up to the event, use social media to engage your network!

  • Post photos of you riding and training for the event
  • Engage with the cycle community (cycle shops, clubs, other events) to let them know about this ride and your support of NPF!
