Broken Arrow Neighbors!
We are a comprehensive community resource center that serves the residents of Broken Arrow and Coweta, right from the heart of the Rose District!
Since 1983 we have grown and changed in so many ways, but have not strayed from our mission, “To provide basic needs assistance with dignity and compassion to neighbors in need through a cooperative community effort”.
We serve our community through our:
- Client-choice food pantry
- Financial assistance with rent and utilities
- New program, Jump Start, helping to end generational dependence on our organization through gainful employment through mentorship.
Your support stays directly here in Broken Arrow and helps our comprehensive community resource center serve those in need in our city.
Over 11,000 people a year depend on Broken Arrow Neighbors because of either food insecurity, financial need or help in many other ways. We are here to serve our community with dignity and compassion, with a hand up, not just a hand out. Our client-choice food pantry is one way we do that. Clients are eligible to come every 30 days to shop in our food pantry, to make a personal choice what to pick for their family, what they like and what they know how to prepare.
In 2020 and 2021 we helped with over $125,000 in rental and utility assistance. Because of YOU, we can continue to serve others.
