2024 Earth Day Trail Clean-Up

Come for the day or just an hour to help ensure our accessible trails will be safe for all as soon as possible.  This opportunity is for adults only.  

Jobs May Include:

  • ​Brush clearing

  • Pruning back overgrowth

  • Hauling and spreading gavel and hard pack

  • Spraying weeds with vinegar solution

    • What to Bring:

  • Boxed lunch; light refreshments will be provided

  • Refillable water bottle; water refilling stations available

  • Weather appropriate clothing; raingear

  • Sturdy footwear

  • Insect repellant

  • Your smile; all other tools will be provided

    As the largest accessible mountain-based trail system in the country, our Dutton Brook and Gregg Trails offer an inspiring tour through the beauty of Crotched Mountain, but we need your help! We need volunteers to help repair and maintain the trail system!
